THe Power of the Mastermind

In our social life there are many reasons why we seek to surround ourselves with like-minded people; we enjoy the same sport or hobby; love to indulge in good food or wine, or just happen to enjoy hanging out.
In our working life it can often be a different story, particularly if you’re running a business. Do you ever feel like a big fish in a small pond? (or are you in a new pond?)
Are you needing to surround yourself with bigger thinkers than you have now?
Do you have people around you that challenge your thinking and stretch you to reach your full potential? Do you have mentors that have already achieved what you wish to achieve?
Are you like the investors and business owners I work with – who are successful, but who would like to get together regularly with other successful people with different expertise and experience? If you are, then you will love what we have put together!
Enter the Dynamic MasterMind Alliance – a group of thought leaders who, amongst other things, will become your trusted advisors, mentors and colleagues to bounce ideas off.
The concept of a MasterMind group is not new but was originally conceived in the early 1900′s by some of America’s first wave of millionaire (and billionaire) entrepreneurs such as Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford and John D Rockefeller.
Napoleon Hill, author of the classic Think and Grow Rich, went on to spend over 20 years studying 500 of the world’s most successful individuals and compiled a list of their successful habits – one of which is forming a powerful MasterMind group.
In his book he wrote about the MasterMind principle as:
“The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.”
He wrote, “No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind.”
Take a look at the following questions, and if you answer yes to any of them then it may be time to consider looking for some kind of support along the lines of the simple MasterMind principle.
Are you lonely at the top? – Leading your own business or being a leader in someone else’s organisation can often mean that you have to make the hard decisions without the support or understanding of colleagues.
Do you want to take your business to the next level? If you’ve been successful so far, but are looking for a new challenge to reach heights that you haven’t ventured into before, you’ll want to find others that you can talk to – to guide you through the minefield that you face.
Even if your current business is a new venture for you, this could be just what you need to grow it quicker, save you making expensive mistakes and reaping the benefits of your investment quicker.
Do you know you have more to offer than you’re doing right now? You have big dreams and goals – is the role you’re playing right now challenging you like it once did?
Are you overwhelmed? – Has the change in economy affected your long term plans? Feeling overwhelmed with the deicsions of which way to go forward?
Do you always perform to your full potential? Do you still give 100 per cent every day and love the life that you live or are you struggling to keep your performance at a high level?
Are you still excited about the work that you do? Remember when you started this and everything was new and exciting? Do you still have that same feeling?
There is a lot to gain from being in the company of people who stretch your thinking. The fact that they may have a different approach to tackling the same problem is just one of these. And, unlike machines, people can hold you accountable to your goals and offer you emotional support along the way.
Participants in MasterMind groups raise the bar by challenging each other to create and implement goals, brainstorm ideas, and support each other with total honesty and respect. We are meeting once each month, in a group up to 10 people – and discuss business, investments, entities, asset structuring, marketing, social media, mindset, goals – and other topics that will give the participants an excellent return on their investment.
I have always loved learning from others, connecting people to their own potential, and to other people who will be of benefit along their journey. If you too are looking for this real progress in your business and personal life and an instant and valuable support network then you may wish to consider some of the pluses of belonging to a MasterMind group:
- Be part of a small group of business leaders, innovators, investors and entrepreneurs – each highly respected in their own expertise – meeting in person right here in Perth or with an international group over the phone.
- A “board meeting” on your business twice a year which will help you with your current situation and finding opportunities that you can take advantage of.
- An experienced facilitator and chairman of each group, keeping the group on task and focused on each person’s business in turn
- A supportive group who will challenge you to live your full potential.
- Start playing a bigger game, doing what you know you should do.
- Networking with like-minded locals that are also serious about their wealth journey.
- Get clear on what you want, and have up to nine others “on your side”.
- Start benefiting from the principle of a MasterMind alliance as talked about by Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich.
- Spend time working ON your business rather than IN it.
- Have FUN with all the other BIG THINKERS in the group.
A MasterMind group will become your secret weapon, giving you the edge that has been missing in your life. It is a win-win for all involved: new growth, new friendships, new motivation and big new steps in the direction that you want to go.
To get more information on joining the Dynamic Mastermind Alliance, send an email to jill@evolvedynamic.net, outlining your current situation and why you would like to be considered as a participant in the Dynamic Mastermind Alliance. I personally speak with each applicant and make sure that the values of integrity and confidentiality are going to be adhered to. It’s as much about putting into the group as it is about getting something out of it. If you are prepared to give freely of your experience and expertise for the good of the group, and would like to benefit from the experience and expertise of the group, then you’ll probably going to be a good fit.
The definite purpose of the Dynamic Mastermind Alliance is to grow the wealth of each person in the group, by means of sharing expertise and ideas on each member’s business or investment portfolion in turn. We will give as much or more than we receive, so that others can experience our skills and expertise. When others know what your strengths are, they can refer you with confidence.
While referrals to your business will come over time, as everyone gets to know you and what you need in your business or investing strategies – the main aim is to serve as “Board members” of each business. Soliciting business is seen as a secondary gain, rather than the focus. Referals and business will come organically as you prove your integrity and sincerity and capability within the group.
PS: In order to retain the variation in expertise that will grow the Dynamic Mastermind Alliance, it is important to have people with broad expertise from a variety of businesses or investment asset classes. Each niche can only be filled by one person – so if you wait before you join, you may need to wait a very long time before someone leaves and creates a space in your business area.
If you are in Perth – our next meeting is on the fourth Monday of each month – so if you act quickly you might be able to join us! Email me on jill@evolvedynamic.net. Next meeting will be on Monday 27 February

Which buttons are you pressing?

Have you ever noticed how teenage boys just LOVE to tease their sisters? Without giving out too much detail, let’s just say that I have been observing at quite close quarters, how one such boy will stand in wait to give his sisters a fright. The louder they scream, the bigger the kick that he gets from it! He can spend ages thinking up strategies to press their buttons!
No matter how much I tell them not to rise to the bait, they continue to fall for it every time! Having grown up as the only girl with three older brothers, I simply had to adapt and act impervious to their teasing, otherwise I knew they would never let up! It certainly stood me in good stead when I was working on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and was part of the 1% of women on the market floor at the time!
I’ve suggested he put his time to better use creating other things, but he just loves seeng their reaction! I guess this may change as other girls get more interesting in the years to come! He could be spending this time more productively and could result in better school marks or anything else in line with his goals.
But do teenagers ever really grow up? I’ve observed business owners spending energy figuring out how to press other people’s buttons! My question is: What are you currently focusing on, and is it getting you one step (or a massive leap) closer to what you want? Are you spending time on the productive or unproductive actions? Are you using your ingenuity to beat a system, or to get you closer to your goal?
Are you allowing your time to be wasted getting caught up in the incompetency of head office or another office, or are you focused on what impacts on your business – and making changes that directly affect your bottom line?
There will always be those who tease, press buttons, spend hours trying to get around the system – so we can either join them, allow the buttons to be pressed, or put our focus entirely on productive things.
As I spend time with business owners and leaders, they tell me they all know what they should be doing, but they aren’t doing it. The strategies you ran when your business was really doing well – are you doing those strategies now? Or are you allowing politics, other people or circumstances to affect your focus?
Find something that you can get really excited about, check if it will move you in the direction of your current goal, and then take action.
Press your own button – the one that says ACTION!
Leave the other non-productive behaviour to those who don’t have anything better to do with their time!

If you’re in Perth, I hope you’re joining us THIS THURSDAY to meet Loral Langemeier. If you haven’t yet heard of her, don’t worry, I only heard about her 4 years ago when I first read “The Secret”. Her conversation around money fascinated me as she spoke about the strategies that the wealthy use for investing and building businesses. I’m delighted she accepted my invitation to come to Perth to share her strategies with our clients, colleagues and friends. My invitation to her had one condition – that she meet with a small group of Perthites for an “Up Close and Personal” over some yummy canapes and drinks – and is prepared to share some of the behind the scenes stories that she doesn’t share elsewhere.
I’m finding more and more investors and business owners in Perth who want to connect with other successful people – to have a peer group that they can discuss and mastermind ideas and strategies with. They have been around the block once or twice and want to share some of their expertise, while also sharing the expertise of others for the benefit of their business. Dynamic mentors are crucial if you want to create a great business, but if you’re happy with an average business or life, you probably wouldn’t be interested!

Perhaps the single most effective success-accelerator of all is coaching – Bob Proctor

“Experience has taught me that there are no short cuts
to success. Yet there are ways to create the illusion of a short
cut—tools and resources that can help you to accelerate your
growth, so that you achieve your goals and realize your
dreams in far less time than you ever could have on your own.
And perhaps the single most effective success-accelerator of all is coaching.
A coach or mentor helps breathe life and action into your intentions,
transforming them into concrete goals and then providing you with the
information and motivation you need to turn those goals into glorious reality.
The power of coaching lies in the fact that it provides you with the most
critical ingredients for extraordinary, consistent success: ongoing support,
detailed action plans, constructive feedback, and most importantly, personal
accountability. When you know that you have to regularly report on the actions
you’ve taken to achieve your goals — to a person who is going to give you expert,
informed criticism and unwavering encouragement all the way to the finish line—
your commitment, enthusiasm, and belief in your abilities increases exponentially.
You become an unstoppable force for personal achievement.
Having personally benefited from coaching and mentoring throughout my
life, I know exactly how powerful and profound an impact they can have. That is
why my company, LifeSuccess, is committed to bringing the coaching experience
to as many individuals as possible. We offer a tremendous range of coaching and
mentoring services, from coaching systems specifically created for salespeople,
corporate executives and corporations, to training coaches to teach our programs,
to highly-customized coaching programs designed around a client’s unique needs.
Coaching in one form or another has been practiced among a small
minority of enlightened individuals for centuries. Only recently has this
enormously powerful engine for personal transformation begun to receive
mainstream attention on a global scale. I believe this miraculous turn of events is
the result of a spiritual shift that is taking place in the world: Individuals in great
numbers are realizing that they have deep reservoirs of talent and ability — and
that they possess the inherent power to bring them forth and use them to shape
their destinies.
LifeSuccess Coaching Programs have a magnificent reputation from Asia
to America, empowering people with the tools and information they need to
truly improve the quality of their lives. If anything you have read in my book “You Were Born Rich” or
anything I have just shared with you connects with the higher side of your
being, we would like to talk to you. One of life’s beautiful truths is that you can
accomplish everything you’ve ever dreamed of accomplishing. Allow us to show
you how.”

To get sustained results, it’s important to have an ongoing focus on achieving these results. Results also come from re-evaluating past performance, taking stock of where you are right now and setting goals each person can get passionate about.
For your core team – if you would like better results, then the most important way to do this is for each person to change their thinking. You know your business better than anyone else does – but you also buy into the same limiting thinking that everyone else in your industry does. By getting an outsider to challenge that thinking, you can establish what the facts are, and which of your thoughts are based on limiting beliefs or paradigms.
A year-long program has a number of benefits:
- Sustained focus rather than a short-term excitement: allows you to see and evaluate improvement and progress. Shifting thinking shows results many months after the change has been made, although some instant benefits are evident to yourself and those around you.
- Paradigms and beliefs have been layered into your subconscious mind over many years – most of your life (and some are from previous generations!). It takes a while to change these into more empowering paradigms. There is no quick-fix solution – real results are from constant improvement and sustained actions and effort.
- In the short term we are likely to uncover some superficial beliefs that will assist you – but they are like layers of an onion. Working together over a year allows us to really get to the core of your beliefs and paradigms and establish which ones are working for you, which ones will get you where you want to go, and which are simply holding you back. On the surface, all your beliefs are serving you – they have got you this far, but they are also holding you back from getting to the next level of success in business particularly.
- It’s tempting to “go-it-alone” when work gets busier, challenges come up or the economy changes – but when are feeling most stressed or challenged, this is the very time when we are about to break-through to the next level. The larger the step that needs to be made, the more challenging it feels. The more fear, doubt and confusion you’re facing, the closer you are to breaking through to where you want to be. This is where having a coach can make the biggest difference of all – to pull you through, cheer you on and challenge you when you need to be challenged.
Attitude is determined by our thoughts, feelings and actions. As you have experienced, it’s our thoughts that determine our actions and hence our results.
If you, as leaders, have a clear image of where you want to be, what kind of person you need to be to get there – and what you can be doing right now to move in that direction, then you will succeed in anything you set your mind to – so long as it’s in line with your own values and personal purpose.
Loral Langemeier comes to Perth!

Yes! Loral Langemeier will be in Perth on 22 September – to find out more, get your free tickets to see her live and have a whole different conversation around money, click here.
You have probably heard the story about how, four years ago, I read “The Secret”. We had just arrived in Australia, from South Africa to a small village called Hopetoun, on the southern coast of Western Australia (population: 300!) Our kids were 5, 7 and 11 – and it had been a whirlwind journey of packing up our life and moving to a whole new environment. My husband was starting a new job and the kids went into a brand new school.
The book made such an impression on me, that I bought the audio and the DVD version of it. I decided that I would study with the teachers featured in The Secret. So I started reading several books and programs – from Bob Proctor, Loral Langemeier, John Assaraf, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen – and several others.
Loral Langemeier made a big impression on me. She had become a millionaire as a single mother in her early 30′s. I thought “Wow, I would love to meet her and learn from her.”
Several things have happened in the interim, and so I’m really excited to announce that Loral is coming to Perth, at my invitiation, in just a few weeks. You can join us in Perth (or if you’re in other major cities around Australia).
This is a cumulation of setting some goals, and visualising what I want my life to be like. I’m passionate about making a difference to people’s mindset – through coaching, clarity, connection and collaboration. Opening up the conversation about money and how we think about it is an amazing journey!
I would like to encourage you to think about what you’d like to be doing (if you’re not already doing it), who you would like to meet or be talking to along the way – and what sort of impact you want your organization to have.
If you are in Perth, I wanted to let you know that Loral has agreed to join me for an exclusive “Up Close and Personal” cocktail networking event before her free preview. If you are interested in receiving an invitation to this, please email me directly. Bookings for this will open next week, and will be limited to 60 people only. It’s not going to be cheap – but if you want to ask Loral questions that are going to help your business right now, then you’ll want to be there.
Have a great weekend,
Kind regards

The labels we use for ourselves
July 19, 2011 by bizblog
“You’re definitely a morning person” I was told a few days ago. Funny that – on the same day I was told I definitely wasn’t a morning person! So what am I reallly? Well, it’s irrelevant what I am – somedays I choose to be up early and others I love a good lie-in. The point is that we very quickly categorise people and put labels on them.
Some of these labels will stick – until we use them for ourselves. Just today I was discussing with one of my coaching clients, his perception of procrastinating. Seems he had been accusing himself of procrastinating, when in fact he is a very efficient and effective person. This is obvious from his achievements and also the way he conducts himself replying to emails and meetings.
What label are you attaching to yourself? What label is going to serve you best.
As human beings, we are deleters of information. Yes, that’s right, we delete more information than we take in. In order to survive, we stereotype, categorise and label the experiences that we have been exposed to. When we have a sequence of events that take place after meeting someone of a particular culture, we may make a rule. Every other person that seems to have a similar culture, we will probably pre-judge according to our previous experience.
Now we know through history that stereotypes can be wrong, they can be very wrong. Particularly when prejudice is attached to this. Lets get back to the labels you’re using for yourself? Where do they come from?
Growing up on a dairy farm, anyone who got out of bed after 5:30am was definitely not a morning person! Everything is relative! When I shared with a colleague that I often attend calls at 5:30am, he was convinced that I AM a morning person. Who is right? Well, both of them I guess! Does it even matter?
It’s good to know when you are at your best, which times are your most productive – but you can change your cycles to get up earlier if you want, or rest longer too. I love sleeping in on holidays and weekends – and think it’s important if you need the rest or like to do so.
What do you love to do? What labels are going to serve you to get this done?
Bob Proctor shares his secrets to success

“If I had to pick one thing that allowed me to go from pumping gas in a service station to spending 50 years founding, formulating and being chairman of a number of companies that operate globally in over 100 different countries I would have to attribute it to the coaching I received from the six great coaches and mentors in my life. I want to share with you the lessons I learned from them because I believe you will benefit greatly by them.
Focus on all the Reasons You Can Get What You Want
Ray Stanford entered my life when I was working in the fire hall in Toronto at age 26, exactly 50 years ago. I was earning $4,000 and I owed $6,000 and it never even entered my mind that I could get out of debt. He encouraged me to take an honest look at the results I was getting. He said “Bob, you keep talking about not having a formal education and using it as an excuse for getting poor results.” He then said, “Those are only reasons why you’re not getting what you want. Set those aside and start to focus on all the reasons you can get what you what.” Then he gave me Napoleon Hill’s book, Think and Grow Rich.
He said, “Bob, if you will make the commitment to do exactly what this book says and exactly what I suggest, I’ll help you change your life.” I didn’t really believe I could, but I believed he believed I could. And it was his belief in me that inspired me to begin to study. One year later, I was earning $175,000 a year and, from there, I took it to over a million a year. I didn’t know what was happening to me, but I was beginning to realize a lot of the things that I had been thinking weren’t true. I thought some people were lucky but others weren’t. I was to find out that you and I have exactly the same potential.
Study, Study, Study
I then got a hold of Earl Nightingale’s condensed narration of the Napoleon Hill book, Think And Grow Rich on a record. I began listening to that record every day. It was listening to Earl’s voice and the information he was sharing that caused me to want to go to work with him. I moved my Family from Toronto to Chicago and joined the Nightingale-Conant Corporation. It was only after I got there that I realized I had a double win. I wasn’t only going to work with Earl Nightingale – I would also work with Lloyd Conant. Earl and Lloyd became my 2 coaches. I loved working for them and I got an education that you couldn’t buy. They literally originated the self help business in recorded fashion that we know today. In time, the Nightingale-Conant Corporation became the largest distributer of self help programs in the world, and I was working there with the people that originated it. Earl Nightingale taught me how to study. He said, “Don’t just read the book, study i t. Attempt to understand the idea the author is attempting to communicate in each paragraph. To do that you might need to study that paragraph for a month.”
Take the Lid Off Your Mind and Let it Soar
Lloyd Conant taught me to take the lid off my mind and let it soar. He said, “Bob, nothing is big or small, except our thinking makes it so. No one alive knows what we’re capable of doing. Go after something big. Even if you miss, it can be exhilarating.”
Know You Have a Magnificent Mind
It was there that I was introduced to Val Van De Wall. Val and I became great friends and he shared one idea with me that literally changed my life. It was a diagram of the mind. He explained we think in pictures but no one has ever seen the mind so when we think of it, we become confused. There is no order in the mind. A doctor friend of his came up with the original drawing. I refer to it as the Stick Person and I’ve shared it with people all over the world. If I were to be coaching you, I’d teach it to you.
Val introduced me to his coach, Dr. Harry Roder. Harry knew more about the mind than anyone I’d ever met. I’d spent countless hours with him and I began to understand exactly how the mind functions. In fact, Dr. John Mike from Florida said I taught him more about the mind in 1 year than he had learned in 4 years of medical school and 5 years of psychiatric training. I found that interesting because I had merely taught him what Dr. Roder had taught me.
These 5 men helped me answer a huge question . how and why did my life change? Without any formal education, without any business experience, in less than 5 years, I built a company that operated in 7 cities and 3 different countries and I really didn’t understand how I had done it. They taught me what I had changed and how I had accomplished what I had accomplished. It was this magnificent knowledge that triggered the enormous desire in me to teach this information to as many people as I could. But I had one big problem . I was quiet and shy.
Believe You Can Do What You Believe Others Can Accomplish
I was afraid to stand up and ask a question let alone stand up and teach. It was at that point in the late sixties at the Hyatt Hotel in Chicago that a man named Bill Gove walked out on a stage and literally captivated an audience of 500 people. Merely by sharing information with them, he had that audience in the palm of his hand. I stood there thinking, “If only I could do that, then I could teach what I’ve learned.” But the thought of it scared the daylights out of me.
At that point, I flashed back in my mind to a recording of Earl Nightingale’s that I had listened to a thousand times. He said, “Now right here we come to a rather strange fact. We tend to minimize the things we can do, the goals we can accomplish, and for some equally strange reason we think other people can accomplish things that we cannot. I want you to understand that that is not true. You have deep reservoirs of talent and ability within you that you can bring to the surface and achieve all that you desire.”
If you had asked me if I’d understood it, I probably would’ve said, “Of course!” But here I was watching Bill Gove do something I thought I couldn’t. It was at that point that I started hearing the recording in my head and I realized if Bill can do it, I can do it. I switched my thinking to, “If I could do that, I could help people all over the world change their life.” And it suddenly dawned on me that we are capable of doing anything. I’m not going to just do that, I’m going to get the man on the stage, Bill Gove, to teach me. and he did. Today I’m able to do what he did and get on the stage and share this valuable information. Bill Gove and I remained friends for over 35 years until he passed away a few years ago.
Pass It Along
All of these men are gone but their legacy lives on, through me and all of the other people they helped. That’s how my life changed. These people taught me to earn millions of dollars and invest it back into a business that has helped millions of people. These lessons have allowed me to help people who were in financial trouble become prosperous and companies that were struggling grow into viable organizations. Any way a person can be helped, I’ve seen it happen because the answers are within us. And, because of what these great men taught me, I was able to pass it along.” Bob Proctor
You might know Bob Proctor from the book : “The Secret”. I read “The Secret” in June 2007 and it made such an impact on me that I decided to study with Bob Proctor and be accredited by him to run his programs and to teach what he teaches around the world. If you are wanting to change your life – and are prepared to actually make the changes rather than just talk about them, then we need to talk.
I work with individuals just like you – who are recreating the life they really want. You might have had a large business and scaled it down due to a health issue – and now want to build a business again, but without all the busy-ness that you had before. Perhaps you are in an entirely different business to what you’ve had before. Or you’re in a different state or country, and could do with someone to hold you accountable to the goals you’ve set yourself around your investing and/or business.
You might be in a high-paying job – but you know you’re capable of so much more – you really want to have your own business – but don’t know where to start and still keep the income coming in.
The first step before you start working with me, is to put your details in the box on the right hand side of this page – where it says name and email. You will receive five of my free videos that will start you thinking along the right path. Then send me an email telling me about you and your business, and what you would like to get from working with me.
I work only with those that I know I can help – only those in whom I can see the potential and who are going to get a return on their investment working with me. It’s a funny thing – someone asked me yesterday how I know when I’m talking to an ideal prospective client – and it was something I couldn’t really describe – It’s almost as if I can see that they aren’t getting the results they are used to getting. They are normally focused individuals – ones who get what they want when they set their mind to it. They’ve been successful in other ventures or areas of their lives – but for some reason, right now – they are feeling a bit overwhelmed or unclear on how to move forward.
One man said to me “I’ve been trying to live my life cautiously since we moved to Australia, but I’ve realised since working with you that everything I’ve done before was because I grabbed it with both hands and ran with it. I going to start doing what I know best – take on something I’m excited about – and then do it with my new mindset.”

… it’s nearly bankrupt but we see the potential.

“People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
As a student, several years ago, I heard a talk –
“We have taken over this company, it’s nearly bankrupt but we see the potential.
Staff – tell us what you think we can do (that won’t cost any money) to get more customers.”
The answers were surprising, although in retrospect, perhaps obvious.
One of the ideas that came through that brainstorming session was to always spell peoples names correctly.
Was that going to cost anything? No.
Was it possible that it might keep existing and prospective customers happy if all documentation has their correctly spelt name on it? Absolutely.
“More important is the RESPECT displayed by such attention to detail and the way in which this permeates the whole system” said Tom Ansley, who took over Elliott International in South Africa, over 30 years ago.
They moved Elliott from bankruptcy to number one in the world in eight years.
This talk made a big impact on me. (Sometimes you don’t know whose lives you’re impacting! I contacted Tom last week – and he was touched that his talk in 1990 had made such an impression on me!)
Tom Ansley talks about the early days:
“As for the short term results of those early and elementary steps, they were not huge but there was a quick and remarkable change in the ATTITUDE of our people.
They knew I was deeply interested in their well being and their development in the company and they were enthusiastic about applying such simple and elementary principles as spelling peoples names correctly, answering the telephone within 3 rings, using the “please” and “thank you’s” when dealing with one another etc.
All of this made a huge difference to the morale of the company and led, in the long term, to Elliott receiving a most prestigious industry award from London.”
“I’ve told many audiences in South Africa and all over the world, it is those simple principles, applied with enthusiasm and commitment by everyone, especially by me, which contributed largely to the massive development of ELLIOTT in those difficult but exciting times.
Many valuable ideas originated from those meetings with our people when I encouraged them to make a difference by participating in the discussions in an open and honest way. We learned, for example, that it is the business appreciating the value of never failing to return telephone calls which will endure.
The way in which we talk to customers, always with that smile and enthusiasm in the voice, makes a huge difference. We want to leave everyone who calls us or who visits our offices with the indelible impression that doing business with Elliott is a special and “customer friendly” experience.
Old fashioned?? Sure thing – but it still works in the modern age of technology!!!!!”
We can get all the theory and teaching about building businesses and increasing profit, being happy or achieving your goals – but there are also some really basic common-sense principles that apply to every aspect of our lives.
Do you care enough about your customers or those around you?
Do you have an attitude of respect for yourself and others?
Do you want profits enough?
Enough to pay attention to this detail?
(have we spelt your name correctly today?!)
Enjoy the rest of your Chooseday, with special thoughts to those in Christchurch, New Zealand after the earthquake today.
Kind regards
Jill
