“The Law of Attr-Action is not about waiting, prayer, meditation, or chanting your way to wealth. The second part of the word is Action! And you must find and take the right action. Forget the idea that someone, somehow in someway will deliver a big tv, money or a car to you.. Get off your ass, and provide the services, product, knowledge or ideas you have to someone in fair exchange. Then the Law of Attraction will work for you.”  John Assaraf.

Things going well for you?

Are you traveling well at the moment? Do you have momentum?
What I have discovered with many of my clients is that this is the time when you need to stay on track with coaching – to maintain the momentum and keep focused.
If you were to eat really well for a few days, possibly even more than you absolutely need, but all great protein and fresh fruit and veg – and then stopped eating completely – how long would that energy last?
It’s when you’re eating well that you should plan the next week’s meals so that you stay on track.
EvolveDynamic Life and Business Coaching is really a “food program” for the mind – when things are going well is when you need to keep topping up to make sure the “travelling well” lasts and gets even better.

Going without, losing focus and then trying to get back on track again takes much more effort and time than maintaining the good stages and gaining more momentum. When you simply do the right things when you feel you need them, there is a risk that you have a roller coaster ride – great highs, lows, and then cycling in between. The aim of life coaching is to keep the momentum, smooth out the bumps and get you more of the highs and less of the low.

The Inside Track

March 15, 2011 by

It’s quite interesting to be on the inside track at an event. I have attended many events from real estate promotional events; personal development; Neuro-linguistic programming to wealth creation – and have always got something out of every single event. I learnt that when I went in curious to get something out, I normally did. When I went in with the attitude that the presenter wasn’t likely to teach me anything – I missed some of their valuable content before I woke up to the fact that I could learn something from them!
Prior to getting her here to Perth in Sept 2011, I assisted Loral Langemeier and her team with her Cash Machine Workshop in Sydney. How very interesting and inspiring to be on the team, rather than a participant.
Apart from learning some very useful things that are applicable in my business, I really valued the whole process of assisting people to work through their money paradigms by encouraging them into action.

Which got me thinking about the old adage, paralysis by analysis. Some people get ready to plan their action plan. Some even plan to plan their plan! As one of my team members, Nick Allan said: “You need to put your foot down to see the gaps in your business”. Taking action shows up the areas you need to focus on faster than any amount of discussion ever could.

It’s sometimes easier to talk about what we would like to do someday, or to think about what could be done. When is the right time to put those plans into action, to simply “Say Yes, and then figure out how” as Loral would say?

You can’t turn a parked car.
If it’s moving, you can always take a left or right and change direction, you can even do a u-turn and go back the way you have come if you realise you’re going in the wrong direction.

Where do you need to take action in your life? What areas have you been thinking about, planning, or talking about? Where does the rubber need to hit the road?

If you’re strongly into action and have been racing along at top speed, when are you going to pull over and reflect whether you’re on the right track? Just because you’ve been driving down the same track for most of your life doesn’t mean that it’s the right track for you right now.

What is your inside track? What is the track that challenges you to grow, and still allows you to fulfil the roles that you value in your life?
Which track is going to get you where you want or need to go?
Having clarity around where you want to go is the first step.
Once you’re clear, then taking action is the very next step.

If you need help in getting clear about which track you should be on – email me.
One of the most frequent things I hear in feedback from clients is how much value they have got from coaching with me – the clarity they get enables them to take action and get the results they need!

When was the last time you got to think about YOU?

Are you having fun? Or are you remembering the times when your life was more fun than it is now?

I used to think that fun wasn’t a value. That fun wasn’t a worthy value to uphold. For some peculiar reason, I thought that honesty and integrity were more worthy ideals than Fun. However, what I have come to realise is that I only really have fun when all my other values are being adhered to. If one value is out of whack, then I can feel it and I don’t have a whole lot of fun with whatever I’m doing.

Today I assisted a very talented lady to get clear on her values. It was a profound experience for her, one that she had never done – and it assisted her to choose her direction that matched her core values. She discovered where she had been out of alignment with her values, and sorted through the priority of her values.

I have also learnt along the way that when I’m having fun with work, it doesn’t feel like work. I have the most fun when I’m using my talents and skills to the max. This is also the time when I allow others to do the tasks that are in their own skillset – and they have fun too!

When things are fun, I find my productivity goes up. When things feel all too hard, that’s when I know I’m doing something wrong, or I’m focusing on the wrong things.

How could you turn whatever you’re doing right now into something more fun? Because it’s Chooseday today, you can choose the values you wish to take forward, and how you perceive whatever you’re doing.

I am running a workshop entitled “It’s My Time” for women in the Perth area. If you are interested in attending, you can get more information here. Pick yourself up and dust yourself off And back in the saddle

My daughters, age 8 and 10, came home from school last week – very excited because the leaders of the year 7 class had performed a song that they loved.

“Mum, remember the song that was played at Graeme and Janice’s wedding?” they asked me,

“Um,” I replied, trying desperately to scan through the possible 1000 songs (some of which I didn’t even recognise!) that we may have danced to only 6 weeks ago.

“You know, the one that goes Waka Waka, oh oh”

Could it be the All Blacks war cry – the Wakka Wakka?  No didn’t think I’d heard any Kiwi songs at the wedding!

It’s not only recently that it dawned on me how ignorant I am about song titles (yes,  I’m afraid even as a teenager, I could sing along to a song and still not know it’s title or who sang it!).

Lucky for modern technology – a quick search on You tube picked it up as the Soccer World Cup 2010 theme song.  As soon as I heard it I could see my nephew’s new bride in all her white finery, full skirt and all, leaping around on the dancefloor just like Shakira!

So I thought I would share the words of the song with you – because even if you’ve heard the song, you may have, like me, not really listened to these inspirational words! Think of how these words apply to business, to sport – to life in general.

Here’s to getting back in the saddle as we head towards 2011. Tomorrow is a new day – and everyday is Chooseday!

Kind regards

Jill Hutchison

Here are the lyrics for Waka Waka:

You’re a good soldier
Choosing your battles
Pick yourself up and dust yourself off
And back in the saddle

You’re on the frontline
Everyone’s watching
You know it’s serious, we’re getting closer
This isn’t over

The pressure is on
You feel it
But you’ve got it all
Believe it

When you fall, get up, oh oh
And if you fall get up, eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa  (translation: where do you come from?)
‘Cause this is Africa

Tsamina mina eh eh (tr: Come)
Waka Waka eh eh (tr:  do it – as in perform a task)
Tsamina mina zangalewa
This time for Africa

Listen to your god
This is our motto
Your time to shine, don’t wait in line
Y vamos por todo (tr: and we go all out)

People are raising
Their expectations
Go on and feed them, this is your moment
No hesitation

Today’s your day
I feel it
You paved the way
Believe it

If you get down, get up, oh oh
And you get down, get up, eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
This time for Africa

Tsamina mina eh eh
Waka Waka eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa

‘Cause this is Africa

Tsamina mina, anawa a a

Tsamina mina, eh eh
Waka waka, eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
